This is a page where folks send in things of
interest or comical nature. Though we don't condone drinking
much...A friend who likes his beer sent us this humourous
explanation of how beer works, so we thought we'd share it
since it's a somewhat clever and humourous analysis...

One afternoon
at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the
Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.
Here's how it went:
'Well ya see, Norm, it's like this. A
herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo.
And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest
and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This
natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the
general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by
the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same
way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest
brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills
brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest
brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer
eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster
and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter
after a few beers.'

things that people might find funny
to brighten their day, that aren't of negative nature or
offensive to anyone, but that invoke questions about our
nature and who we are. We'll do our best. So
we'll add things we found funny with the hopes that you'll get
a chuckle as well, and that it'll brighten your day.
First up, we couldn't help but laugh when we were surfing
the net to find the most classic sales angle possible.
Someone was using Pam ( i think its her) to sell cars or
something and they put this picture up. I'd be thinking
about whether this car was gonna cost a fortune to fix before
anything else... but you've gottal laugh.
So...ready for something totally new...check this
out (the website is correct now)...
Electric Cars? Yes. This is the wave of the
future. Believe it or not...just look around us....
I've found a great deal of info about electric cars and
one heck of a wave is coming...The lithium batteries are
getting cheaper and many improvements are making electric
vehicles a totally do-able thing...just imagine...no gas
required...hmmmm!
Here's something of interest. Lynne Mason has a
site which is devoted to the proliferation of the coming
electric car boom (U-build it). You can sign up for her
free newsletter to learn more about it. She's a pretty
tough gal to be building any kind of car, let alone an
electric one. This seems to be a "guru" site where all
the electric guys and gals go to learn more. So kudos to
you Lynne, our hats are off. Here's the link for anyone who's
